The mission of the White Plains Hospital Center’s Prostate Program is to gather a superbly trained and highly experienced team of oncology professionals who employ the latest equipment and procedures to assist each patient in dealing with prostate cancer.
Since there is rarely a clear consensus about the optimum treatment for prostate cancer in each case, the Prostate Program team evaluates the entire spectrum of treatment options based on a variety of factors unique to each patient. Then, in conjunction with the patient and his family, the options are presented and discussed. When the patient’s questions have been answered, the patient has the opportunity to decide which treatment modality he prefers.
