U.S. men over 50 are at risk for prostate cancer, the second most common cancer among in both occurrence and mortality. Men with localized cancer, which has not spread to other parts of the body, can live as long as people who have never had the disease. Others can be very effectively treated. Knowing the issues and screening for early detection significantly increase the chances for survival.
